Seminar with a Star: AEW’s Luchasaurus Coming to the PPW DC!
Pure Pro Wrestling is proud to announce that AEW superstar Luchasaurus will be hosting a special training seminar intended for active & student pro wrestlers. Fresh of his TNT television debut Luchasaurus is will be bringing his years of experience and knowledge to the PPW Development Center at Iceland Arenas in Flint Township. The goal of this seminar is for to help Michigan’s active and aspiring wrestlers to hone their craft while leaning valuable insight into the business of professional wrestling.
The two hour Luchasaurus seminar will focus on a two part curriculum.
1.) Part 1: In ring training w/ one-on-one coaching. Areas of focus will be developing new technique, working on pace and match structure, and learning how to construct multiple minute main event quality matches.
2.) Part 2: The business of professional wrestling. Luchasaurus has worked for some the largest companies in the world including WWE, Lucha Underground, and now AEW. Luchasaurus has made a living in pro wrestling for many years, long before taking up the reptilian mask. Wrestlers and students should not miss this opportunity to learn how to turn yourself into a marketable wrestler, hone your craft, create exposure and opportunity, and ultimately make a living in the exciting world of pro wrestling.
Who is Luchasaurus?
Austin “Luchasaurus” Matelson is a highly educated and talented person who holds a Masters Degree in History while just happening to be a classically trained pro wrestler whom, for the past several years, has made a living wrestling all over the world. Matelson’s career started in the independent pro wrestling scene. His size, athletic ability, and ability to be a compelling character allowed him to travel the independent while working for several top regional companies. WWE noticed Matelson’s talent and sent him to FCW to develop for TV. FCW eventually turned to NXT and Matelson found himself on their programming performing as Judas Devlin. After a decent stint at WWE and being one of the pioneers of NXT, Matelson traveled the world performing until he found himself on Lucha Underground dawning a new character called Vibora. After a stint as a tag team champion, Matelson left Lucha Underground and reinvented himself on Tommy Dreamer’s House of Hardcore program. Matelson became Luchasaurus and then his career began to sky rocket to unprecedented heights until finally landing right smack dab in the middle of a contract with the hottest company in pro wrestling All Elite Wrestling.
