Extreme Rules Main Event: ECW / WWE Legend Sabu VS DTA’s Aaron Orion

Michigan’s most decorated wrestler and Death Threat Army leader Aaron Orion will go to war with WWE / ECW legend Sabu in an Extreme Rules Main event. To make matters even more exciting WWE Alumni Melissa Coates aka Super Genie will be in Sabu’s corner. For the past several decades Sabu has competed across the globe in the most insane and death defying matches ever witnessed by man. Sabu is infamous for using his body as a lethal weapon. Sabu loves to use an array of ladders, tables, chairs, and of course barbed wire! But when Sabu pulls out the iron spike made famous by his Uncle the Original Sheik fans won’t believe that they are seeing! Across the ring from the legendary Sabu is US Army Veteran Aaron Orion, a man who is widely considered to be one of the best wrestlers in the Midwest and Canada. Orion is a former Michigan State Heavyweight Champion and the current holder of several notable titles from top Midwestern independent promotions. Orion has been featured on WWE TV and hopes to pick up a win over Sabu to help further his efforts to take his career to the next level.

Fans in Holland have a chance to witness an independent dream match that could very well wind up being the match of the year. It all goes down in the main event in Holland, Michigan on December 14th. Don’t miss a rare chance to see Sabu go extreme for perhaps his last time in West Michigan! Get your tickets today!

WWE Alumni Melissa Coates to be in Sabu’s Corner on Dec. 14 in Holland

PPW is happy to announce that WWE Alumni & long time professional body builder Melissa Coates will be dawning her Super Genie persona as her main man Sabu takes on Aaron Orion in an Extreme Rules Main Event at the Holland VFW. Trained by the legendary Killer Kowalksi, Coates enjoyed a wrestler career that took her all the way to the WWE where she found success in Ohio Valley Wrestling, which used to be a long time development territory for the world’s biggest brand of wrestling. After leaving WWE Coates continues to compete on the independent circuit while spending time modeling. The Super Genie persona was developed by Sabu and Coates and now the two veterans spend their time traveling the world as a tandem act. With Super Genie in his corner Sabu will have a distinct advantage over the much younger Orion. Tickets to the event are on sale now!

Loser Leaves the Nomads: Road Rash Vs “Nomad Enforcer” CJ Anderson W/ Special Ref Ace Evans:

As the year winds down and PPW looks to 2020, the Nomads can’t help but to reflect on the roller coaster of highs and lows 2019 brought to the outlaw band of grappler greats. 2019 brought some big wins and championship belts, but it also brought soul crushing defeat, suspensions, injuries, and dissension among the group. When CJ Anderson, Moe Evans, Ace Evans, and Road Rash enter the ring with Donahue in their corner they seem full of confidence and bravado, but behind the scenes their turmoil in the clubhouse. For the past year the Evans Brothers & Donahue have had to mediate what seems to be constant bickering between the “Nomad Enforcer” CJ Anderson & Road Rash. PPW fans have witnessed shades of the arguing during videos shot by the group, including a moment where Road Rash “accidentally took a hammer to Anderson.” The negativity in the group has carried over in the ring and as a result the Nomads have been struggling to regain championship status.

PPW Officials received a “contract” written in blood on a folded up beer covered napkin which was believed to be an agreement between CJ Anderson & Road Rash to wrestle a match on December 14th in Holland, MI. The loser of the match would be forced to leave the Nomads. PPW has opted to facilitate the big match and now Holland fans will witness the biggest match in Nomad history where one man will have to walk away for good.

To make things even more interesting, the VFW Post in Holland who is the host for the event booked the Nomads to host a special Nomad Power Hour at the post bar with $3 domestic specials & deals on other drinks. The post commander wasn’t aware that Anderson & Road Rash were in a feud and now with wrestlers scheduled to be a part of the affair anything could happen. Let’s just hope the VFW beefed up their insurance policy. Nomad Power Hour + Feuding Nomads = a moment in time that YOU cannot miss!

Cruiserweight Contenders Bout: 4 Way Dance

Max Morrison VS Jack Verville VS Adam Wick VS Cody Manning

The Michigan State Cruiserweight Championship is on the mind of four of the top contenders in the state of Michigan. The winner of this bout will earn a future shot at the title currently held by “Perfection Personified” James Alexander. These ultra athletes will lay it all on the line for a chance at honor, glory, and the championship belt. This 4 Way Dance will put all four wrestlers in the ring at one time. The first man to get a pin fall or submission will be the winner.

Let’s Meet our 4 Contenders:

Cody Manning: Out of the four men competing in the tournament, only Cody Manning has tasted the sweetness that is the Michigan State Cruiserweight Championship. Manning has held the belt on a number of occasions and knows exactly what it takes to win the big game. Manning has held multiple titles in his career that has spanned over a decade. Manning is a world traveled competitor who is as cunning as a fox while in the ring. His conditioning is trumped only by his strategic and methodical offensive attacks. He’s a master of deception and baiting his opponents to make costly mistakes and could be considered the favorite going into the match.

Max Morrison: 20 year West Michigan pro wrestling veteran Max Morrison has a unique wrestling style and incredible in ring ingenuity that has earned him several titles across the Midwest. Morrison is currently on a hot streak has he’s been putting of miles on his boots as of late. Morrison has never held PPW gold before, however he’s no stranger to big fights with the title on the line. Morrison is a master at his craft and will not hesitate to break bones and snap the cartilage of the other three wrestlers in the match.

Jack Verville: With a fighting style that blends traditional catch wrestling with modern day MMA, Verville is one of the most lethal wrestlers in all of Michigan. Verville may be small and slender, but on multiple occasions he has defeated men twice his size by utilizing his vast knowledge of submission grappling. Verville can take a beating and just when his opponents think he’s out for the count, he finds a way to counter moves and get submission victories. Verville is also a prominent striker who isn’t afraid to throw them bones.

Adam Wick: This man is essentially walking ordinance incarnate. In short, Wick is explosive. What Wick lacks in experience and size he makes up with his fearless nature and awesomely creative offensive attacks. Wick will come at you from any and all angles. He loves to strike and utilize 3 and 4 strike combos, but don’t be surprised if you see him take to the air to use his body as a weapon. Watching Wick in action is like watching C4 detonate. Fans in the front row better take cover because Wick is hungry to become the next champion of his weight class.

The Dark Lord Asmodeus & “The Apprentice” Kaneki VS The Real Rizers

The Michigan State Heavyweight Champion Samson Real and his multiple time champion tag team partner Tay Rizer will have their hands full as they try to fend of the attack of the Dark Lord Asmodeus and his apprentice Kaneki. The Real Rizers are one of the most popular teams in all of PPW and with so many incredible wins in the books, its easy to see why. Their offense is a hard hitting flash of well timed fury that is incredibly effective. Also, Samson and Tay have a pension for pain as they seem to be able to survive more destruction than your typical mortal man. Pain tolerance will be in high demand as they step into the ring w/ Asmodeus and Kaneki.

For nearly 2 decades Asmodeus has inflicted punishment across the globe in some of the worlds best pro wrestling companies. Although he’s never held a PPW title, he’s held many championships over his illustrious career and its obvious that he’s set his sights on Samson Real’s Michigan’s Heavyweight Title. The Dark Lord stands at 6’4 and weights 245 pounds. He’s big, bad, ultra powerful, and rotten to the core and now he’s passing on his darkness to the young apprentice Kaneki, a once clean cut doughy eyed kid living his dream as a Junior Grappler. Kaneki used to be full of light and looked at the Real Rizers as mentors and hero figures. He utilized the guidance of Tay & Samson to take his game to a new level and find success competing against adults while being only 15 years old. But somehow Asmodeus found a way to corrupt young Kaneki and over the past months fans have witnessed a nasty transition from a normal teenage boy to a creature capable of anything.

The Real Rizers have been hunted and haunted by Asmodeus for a month. The Dark Lord first made his presence known to the Rizers by laying down an ominous challenge to Tay Rizer in Ferndale. Asmodeus destroyed Tay that night in Ferndale and he did it to send a message to his partner Samson. Just this past week in Flint Asmodeus was paired with the Rizers in a tag team match that resulted in both the heroes meeting their demise. Now Asmodeus is the new number one contender and in January of 2020 he’ll be challenging Samson Real for the right to be called the best wrestler in the state of Michigan. In the mean time, both Real and Rizer will need to survive the onslaught of two wrestlers who’s sole mission is to inflict pain on Samson and Tay.

Hannah Henderson VS “Warrior Princess” Tenshi

Since making her PPW debut this past Summer, 17 year old Hannah Henderson has quickly become one of PPW’s fan favorites. Henderson enrolled to PPW’s Development Center at Flint Iceland Arena and joined the Junior Grappler Program where she was coached by PPW’s Head Coach Xavier Justice & Assistant Coach Cody Manning. After only a few weeks of training, Hannah shocked the Junior Division by showing everyone that she was a true natural at the sport. After showing so much promise early on the PPW coaching staff encouraged Hannah to begin training in the adult classes as well as to continue her training in the Junior course. For the past several months Hannah has been training multiple days a week for 3 to 4 hour intervals and with every match has shown consistent improvement. This past October she took Mr. One Night Only to his limits and survived a Pile Driver from Kongo Kong. And its because of her accomplishments, positive attitude, and incredible work ethic she has now been granted an opportunity to take on the legendary “Warrior Princess” Tenshi, a former AIWF World Woman’s Champion.

Taking on Tenshi will be the toughest match Hannah has ever been in. Tenshi is a life long student of martial arts and has utilized her mastery to win more matches than Hannah has years in her life. Tenshi held the AIWF World Woman’s Title for over a year before losing to Heidi Katrina of the UK. After her reign as champion she began teaming with another legend Mr. Gideon Malice, the longest reigning champion in Michigan history. Tenshi now competes regularly against men twice her size and on many occasions has won her matches. A match with Hannah could get ugly for the young lady fast.

Cobra TA VS Gideon Malice

Heavyweight rivals Cobra TA and Gideon Malice with go one-one-one in Holland in an attempt to settle the score once and for all. Cobra TA is one half of the Michigan State Tag Team Champions. The champ is known to be one of the most powerful wrestlers in PPW. His size and strength have earned him a reign as Michigan State Heavyweight Champion and multiple reigns as Tag Team Champion. His opponent Gideon Malice is a former Michigan State Heavyweight Champion who held the most prestigious prize in the state of Michigan 2 years...a record in Michigan professional wrestling. Standing in at 6’3 and weighing 240 pounds, Malice is also a specimen of strength and he’ll meet fire with fire as he goes to war against Cobra TA. The building will shake as these two heavyweights duke it out in Holland, Michigan. If Malice were to win the match he’ll be in strong consideration for either another opportunity at the Tag Team Titles or perhaps an opportunity to become a singles champion once again.

Legendary Referee James Blades to Officiate His Last Match This Saturday Night

After nearly 4 decades in professional wrestling, legendary ref James Blades will be retiring from his job as a PPW Official. Blades has been battling several health issues over the past year and as a result doesn’t feel like he’s able to do his job with the same effectiveness as he did in his younger years. Although rarely appreciated, refs are an important part of a professional wrestling match. Without a person in stripes to enforce the rules every match would turn into chaos and ultimately the fans would suffer. James Blades is one of the best refs to ever wear the stripes and that is why in 2018 he was inducted into the PPW Hall of Fame. Blades began officiating in Memphis long ago and has since officiated matches with many of the legends of the squared circle. Blades is expected to walk away from wrestling this Saturday night, however we do hope that all his supporters and our fans come to big him a very special farewell. Get your tickets to watch Ref James Blades officiate his last match: Cobra TA VS Gideon Malice.

Manager Jack Kelly to Make “Life Changing” Announcement This Saturday Night in Holland

Manager to the stars Jack Kelly has lead his clients to a number of championships since debuting in Pure Pro Wrestling. Over the past year we’ve seen Kelly represent Tenshi during his Woman’s Title reign and most recently we’ve seen him calling the shots in the corner of Nick Xero during his reign as Continental Champ. Kelly contacted PPW Officials asking for some time to make a very personal and “life changing” announcement that “every PPW fan needs to hear.” With reluctance, PPW has granted Mr. Kelly mic time to make his announcement. What could Kelly possibly say that will change the lives of our fans? Buy a ticket to find out!
